Our Mission is to provide high-end and cost-effective data analysis services to support faculty members in the planning, analysis, interpretation, and integration of NGS datasets tailored to their research. We partner with investigators to guide experimental design, perform comprehensive data analysis across bulk and single cell genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics, advise on statistical considerations, and support the interpretation of results. We are committed to delivering accessible, user-friendly services and training to empower the research community. The Bioinformatics for Next Generation Sequencing (BiNGS) Shared Resource is a core within the Tisch Cancer Center (TCC), an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. BiNGS is partially funded by the NCI P30 Cancer Center support grant, and the NIH/NIAMS P30 Skin Biology Disease Resource-based Center support grant.
Mission
Our vision is to enhance scholarship, facilitate research, and increase scientific discoveries by providing access to state-of-the-art bioinformatic analysis and training. We aim to serve the community at the interface between experimental and computational scientists, to increase the value and impact of cancer biology research. We further envision the expansion of training platforms to promote the next generation of cancer biologists proficient in data analysis. We strive to become true scientific partners in the projects we support, sharing responsibility for both the process and the outcome. Our goal is not simply to analyze data, but to build long-term relationships to help investigators maximize the impact, rigor, and success of their research.
